|Vanilla ice cream||1 Pint|
|Crushed peppermint candy/Chopped walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Meringue mix||6 Ounce (1/2 Package)|
Scoop ice cream into 4 balls; roll in crushed candy or chopped nuts.
Return to freezer.
Meanwhile, prepare meringue mix according to package directions.
Put dessert cups on ungreased baking sheet; place ice-cream ball in each.
Quickly swirl meringue over top and sides, sealing to cake.
Freeze several hours or overnight.
Bake in extremely hot oven (500°) 3 minutes or till meringue is lightly browned.
