Sparkling Burgundy Punch
|Freshly brewed tea||1 Quart|
|Rum||2 Ounce (1/4 Cup)|
|Cognac||2 Ounce (1/4 Cup)|
|Lemon juice||4 Tablespoon (Of 2 Lemons)|
|Sparkling water||1 Quart, chilled|
|Sparkling burgundy||500 Milliliter (1 Bottle)|
|Sugar syrup||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Made By Briefly Boiling 2 Cups Sugar With 1 Cup)|
1. When the tea has cooled to room temperature, add the rum, cognac and lemon juice. Chill.
2. When ready to serve, pour the mixture into a punch bowl. Add sufficient ice to chill and stir in the sparkling water and sparkling Burgundy. Sweeten to taste with sugar syrup and serve immediately.
