Ingredients
  Madeira cake/Rich chocolate cake 1 (10 Inch Round, Bought / Homemade)
  Chocolate fudge icing 3 Cup (48 tbs) (Triple Quantity)
  Icing 14 Ounce (425 Gram, Light Brown Colored, Ready To Roll)
  Icing sugar 1 Tablespoon (For Dusting)
  Icing 7 Ounce (200 Gram, Blue Colored, Ready To Roll)
  Food coloring 3 Drop (Dark Blue / Black)
Directions

1. Halve the cake horizontally and sandwich the pieces together with one-third of the chocolate fudge icing. Put it on the plate and use a palette knife to swirl the remainder of the fudge icing over the top and sides of the cake.
2. To shape the dog, roll a 200 g (7 oz) ball of brown icing for the body and flatten it slightly. Place it on the centre of the cake. Roll a 175g (6oz) ball of icing for the head. Pinch one side to a point to make a snout. Rest the head, tilting it slightly to one side, at one end of the 'body'. From the remaining icing shape small paws, droopy ears and a curved tail. Position the paws and ears and reserve the tail.
3. Dust your work surface with icing sugar and thinly roll out the blue icing. Cut out a 20 cm (8 inch) square. Drape the icing over the cake, fitting it first around the dog's head and draping it across the cake in loose folds. Position the tail.
4. Use a fine paintbrush and the blue or black food colouring to paint closed eyes, a snout and a mouth on the dog's face.
