|Unsweetened chocolate||2 1⁄2 Ounce (2 1/2 Squares, 1 Ounce Each)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Heavy cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), whipped|
|Hot milk||1 Quart|
Heat chocolate and water over low heat, stirring till chocolate melts.
Add sugar and salt.
Bring to boiling, reduce heat, and simmer 4 minutes.
Cool to room temperature.
Fold in whipped cream.
To serve, place 1 heaping tablespoon chocolate "batter" in each cup; fill with hot milk; stir.
