French Bean Kabab
|French beans||300 Gram|
|Onion||1 Large, chopped|
|Chopped coriander leaves||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Dry red chilies||2 , broken|
|Turmeric powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Cumin powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Coriander powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Gram flour||1 Teaspoon (Besan)|
|Egg||1 , whisked|
|Frying oil||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (For Shallow Frying)|
Trim French beans, chop and boil in water for about 5 minutes till tender.
Combine all ingredients except gram flour, egg and oil and grind to a smooth paste.
Mix in gram flour and egg.
Pinch off lime-sized balls of mixture and roll into tightly packed kababs.
Heat oil in a non-stick pan over moderate heat and fry kababs in batches till brown.
Drain and place on kitchen paper to absorb excess oil.
Serve hot with sliced onions and green chillies.
