Tropical French Toast
|Milk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Ground cinnamon||1 Dash|
|Ripe banana||1⁄2 Small, cut up|
|French bread slices||4 (4 3/4-Inch-Thick Slices)|
|Maple syrup/Tart jelly||3 Tablespoon|
In blender container combine egg, milk, salt, and cinnamon; blend till smooth.
Add banana pieces; blend till smooth.
Pour mixture into shallow dish.
Dip both sides of bread slices in mixture.
Meanwhile, heat browning skillet or platter in microwave oven on high setting for 3 1/2 minutes.
Add butter to dish, lightly greasing surface.
Place bread on dish.
Micro-cook, uncovered, on high setting 45 seconds.
Turn toast over; micro-cook 45 seconds more.
Serve with syrup or jelly.
