Chicken Liver Pate

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Chicken livers 1 Pound
  Mayonnaise/Salad dressing 3 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon, softened
  Minced onion 1 Tablespoon
  Bottled hot pepper sauce 10 Drop
  Dry mustard 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
Directions

In saucepan melt small amount of butter.
Add livers; cook covered, stirring occasionally, till livers are no longer pink.
Put livers through food mill; blend with mayonnaise, lemon juice, the 2 tablespoons butter, onion, hot pepper sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper.
Shape mixture in 2 1/2-cup mold.
Chill several hours; carefully unmold.
Garnish with chopped hard-cooked egg, if desired.
