Heavenly French Dip
|Onion||1 Medium, cut into rings|
|French bread loaf||1⁄2 (About 12 Inch Long)|
|Sliced cooked roast beef||1⁄3 Pound|
|Canned beef gravy||10 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Red wine||2 Tablespoon|
Set Power Select at HIGH.
In small glass bowl, combine onion and butter.
Heat, covered, 2 to 3 minutes or until onion is tender, stirring once.
Meanwhile, slice bread in half lengthwise and then crosswise, forming 2 sandwiches.
Arrange beef on 2 pieces bread; top with onions, then season with salt and pepper.
Close sandwich; wrap individually in paper napkin.
Add gravy and wine to onion-butter mixture.
Heat 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until heated through, stirring once.
Set Power Select at MEDIUM.
Heat sandwiches 1 to 2 minutes or until warm.
Serve with gravy for dipping.
