Homemade French Onion Soup

Nothing can be better on a cold night than this delicious French onion soup. y this recipe for the classic French Onion Soup. You'll love it. Quick and easy, Enjoy!!
  Onions 2 1⁄2 Large
  Butter 4 Tablespoon
  Olive oil 2 Tablespoon
  Dried thyme 1 Teaspoon
  Bay leaves 2
  Sherry 5 Tablespoon
  Beef stock 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Chicken stock 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Toasted bread rounds 5 (Or As Needed)
  Grated gruyere cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Finely grated parmesan 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Fresh lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Tarragon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Extra virgin olive oil 4 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste

Take a pan and place on medium heat. Add to it butter and olive oil. When the butter melts, add the onions. Saute. Season lightly with salt and sauté for 20-30 minutes on medium low heat. Add the sherry. Add salt, pepper, chicken stock, beef stock, dried thyme and the bay leaves. Serve in a bowl with croutons. Cover with grated parmesan and gryere. Place under broiler till the cheese melts.
Combine all ingredients for the dressing. Pour over the lettuce leaves. Toss and serve a complete meal.
