Spiced French Toast
|Frozen egg substitute||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Skim milk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Powdered sugar||3 Tablespoon|
|Ground cinnamon||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Ground cloves||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Vanilla extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Vegetable cooking spray||1|
|Whole wheat bread slices||4 Ounce (4 Slices, 1 Ounce Each)|
|Powdered sugar||1 Teaspoon|
Combine first 6 ingredients in a shallow dish, stirring well.
Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray, and place over medium heat until hot.
Dip bread slices, 1 at a time, into egg mixture, coating well.
Place 2 bread slices in skillet, and cook 4 minutes on each side or until browned.
Repeat procedure with remaining 2 bread slices.
Sprinkle 1 teaspoon powdered sugar evenly over toast.
