Beef Bourguignonne

Ingredients
  Shortening/Oil 1 Tablespoon
  Sirloin steak 2 Pound, cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
  Green pepper 1 Medium, cut into 2 inch pieces
  Sliced fresh mushrooms 8 Ounce (1 Cup, 1/2 Pint Sliced Or Quartered)
  Chopped onion/1/2 teaspoon instant minced onion 2 Tablespoon
  Flour 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Dry red wine 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Canned whole onions 1 Pound, drained (1 2/3 Cup)
Directions

Place oil in 2 1/2 -quart casserole.
Add steak, green pepper, mushrooms and chopped onion.
Bake, uncovered, at 400° for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from oven; stir in flour and salt.
Blend in wine and whole onions.
Cover and bake 30 minutes longer.
Serve over rice.
