|Butter||2 Tablespoon, melted|
1. Start oven, set at 375° F., Moderate. Rub a small baking dish with butter or margarine.
2. Wash and pare the cucumbers, cut in halves lengthwise, remove seeds and the pulp centers.
3. Cook, covered, in boiling salted water 10 minutes. Drain.
4. Brush the centers with melted butter or margarine. Place the cucumbers in the baking dish, add 1/2 cup hot water.
5. Bake 10 to 15 minutes.
