Cottage Cheese Stuffed French Toast
|Cottage cheese||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Brown sugar||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Oatmeal bread slices/Whole wheat bread slices||2|
|Reduced-calorie margarine||1 Teaspoon|
|Reduced calorie strawberry spread||2 Teaspoon|
Combine first 4 ingredients in small bowl; spread on 1 slice of bread and top with remaining bread to form a sandwich.
In small bowl beat egg with water; transfer to small shallow pan and soak sandwich, turning occasionally, for 10 minutes or until all egg is absorbed.
Melt margarine in small skillet; add sandwich.
Cook until bottom is golden brown; turn and brown other side.
Top with strawberry spread and serve.
