Microwaved French Bechamel Sauce
|All purpose flour||2 Tablespoon|
|Onion powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Chicken broth||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Light cream||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1. Place butter in 1-quart casserole. Heat on Full Power for 30 to 60 seconds, or until melted.
2. Stir in flour and seasonings. Blend to smooth paste. Mix together chicken broth and cream. Stir in gradually.
3. Cook, covered, on Full Power for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 minutes, or until thickened and bubbling. Stir occasionally during cooking time.
