French Beef Bake
|Cubed cooked beef||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Thyme leaf||1⁄2 Teaspoon, crumbled|
|Dry white wine/1 cup apple cider||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Canned white kidney beans||2 Pound, drained (2 Can)|
|Boiled onions||1 Pound, drained (1 Can)|
|Chopped parsley||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
1. Brown beef in butter or margarine in a medium-size skillet; stir in salt, thyme, pepper and wine or cider; heat to boiling.
2. Spoon into a 6-cup baking dish; stir in beans and onions; cover.
3. Bake in moderate oven (375°) for 30 minutes, or until bubbly-hot. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
