Sweet French Toast

Ingredients
  Egg 3
  Eggs 3
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Day old bread slice 7 , cut in half
  Bacon drippings/Butter 1 Ounce (Use more as needed)
Directions

Beat eggs thoroughly, add milk, sugar, and salt and beat until well mixed.
Dip each piece of bread into this mixture for a few seconds; then lift into a heavy skillet in which the bacon drippings or butter have been heated, and cook until golden brown on under side; turn and cook on other side.
Add more fat as required.
Serve at once with syrup or sugar.
