Classic Burgundy Beef Burgers

Ingredients
  Ground chuck 2 Pound
  Soft bread crumbs 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Red cooking wine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Use Red Wine That Is Not Sweet)
  Sliced green onions 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
Directions

In large bowl, toss all ingredients with a fork until well mixed.
Shape in 8 patties, about 1/2-inch thick.
Broil over hot coals, turning once and brushing frequently with Burgundy Sauce, 13 to 15 minutes total cooking time or till of desired doneness.
Heat remaining sauce to pass.
Burgundy Sauce: Cook 2 tablespoons sliced scallions in 1/2 cup butter till just tender.
Add 1/4 cup red cooking wine.
