Cheesy Potato Au Gratin
|Dried potato slices||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Boiling water||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Grated cheddar cheese/Colby cheese||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), heated|
Butter a 2-quart casserole.
Place dried potatoes in a large bowl.
Cover with boiling water and let stand 2 minutes.
Add 1 cup grated cheese, milk, salt and pepper.
Pour into buttered casserole.
Bake, covered, at 375°F for about 35 minutes.
Remove cover, add remaining 1/2 cup cheese; sprinkle with paprika; and continue baking 25 more minutes, or until liquid is absorbed and potatoes are tender.
