Raisin French Toast With Apple Syrup

Ingredients
  Unsweetened apple cider 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Low sugar apple jelly 2 Tablespoon
  Brown sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Cornstarch 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Vegetable cooking spray 1
  Frozen egg substitute 10 Tablespoon, thawed (1/2 Cup Plus 2 Tablespoon)
  Skim milk 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Vanilla extract 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon raisin bread slice 4 Ounce (4 Slices Of 1 Ounce Each)
Directions

Combine first 4 ingredients in a saucepan.
Place grill rack over medium-hot coals (350° to 400°).
Place saucepan on rack; cook, stirring constantly, until jelly melts and mixture is slightly thickened.
Remove from heat; set aside, and keep warm.
Coat a 10-inch cast-iron skillet with cooking spray; place on rack until hot.
Combine egg substitute, milk, and vanilla in a bowl.
Dip 2 bread slices in egg mixture.
Place in skillet; cook, covered, 5 to 7 minutes on each side or until browned.
Repeat with remaining bread and egg mixture.
Serve warm with cider mixture.
