Potatoes Au Gratin

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  All purpose flour 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper white 1 Dash
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  American cheese 4 Ounce, shredded
  Potatoes 4 Cup (64 tbs), sliced
  Soft bread crumbs 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon, melted
Directions

Melt 2 tablespoons butter in saucepan over low heat.
Blend in flour, salt, and dash pepper.
Add milk all at once.
Cook quickly, stirring constantly, till mixture thickens and bubbles.
Remove from heat.
Blend white sauce and cheese; combine with hot sliced potatoes.
Pour into a 1 -quart casserole.
Toss crumbs with melted butter and sprinkle atop potatoes.
Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes or till browned.
