Microwaved French Onion Soup
|Onions||2 Large, sliced (Or 3 Medium Sized)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Water||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Beef bouillon||6 Teaspoon (Or Cubes)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|French bread slice||6 , toasted|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
In 4-quart casserole or Dutch oven, combine onions and butter.
Cook uncovered, 7 minutes or until onions are limp, stirring occasionally.
Add water, bouillon, paprika, Worcestershire sauce and pepper.
Cook covered, 7 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
Place in 4 to 6 individual soup bowls.
Top with toasted bread and sprinkle generously with cheese.
Cook 2 bowls at a time, uncovered, 30 seconds to melt cheese.
