French Applesauce Cake

Ingredients
  Flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Sugar 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cloves 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cocoa 3 Tablespoon
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Oil 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Applesauce 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Nuts 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Raisins 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Combine first 9 ingredients in large bowl.
Heat applesauce in oil and add to dry ingredients; if desired, add nuts and raisins.
Mix thoroughly.
Pour into tube pan which has been greased and floured.
Bake 1 hr at 325 degrees F.
