Ingredients
1/4 cup soft butter
1/4 cup sugar
Dash salt
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 cup sifted all purpose flour
3/4 cup water
6 tbsp. butter
3/4 cup sifted all purpose flour
3 eggs
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp. cold water
Vanilla Cream Filling
1/2 cup whipping
Directions

Beat 1/4 cup butter, sugar, salt and egg yolk together until light and fluffy.
Beat in almond extract.
Add 1 cup flour and mix with a wooden spoon until well blended.
Gather dough into a ball, wrap in waxed paper and chill at least 1 hour.
Heat oven to 37
