French Chocolate Syrup

|Light corn syrup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Chocolate squares||3 Ounce (3 squares, semi sweet)|
Measure corn syrup and water into 4-cup measure.
Add chocolate squares.
Cook uncovered, 3 minutes or until chocolate melts, stirring once.
Blend until smooth.
Stir in vanilla and cool.
Serve over icecream
