Baked French Cherry Dessert

Ingredients
  Eggs 3
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  All purpose flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Granulated sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Dark sweet cherries 2 Cup (32 tbs) (pitted)
  Powdered sugar 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Heat oven to 350°.
Beat eggs, milk, flour, granulated sugar and the vanilla with hand beater until smooth.
Spread cherries in greased oblong baking dish, 10 x 6 x 1 1/2 inches, or square baking dish, 8 x 8 x 2 inches.
Pour batter over cherries.
Bake uncovered until puffed and golden brown, 45 to 60 minutes.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
