1 In a pan, melt 3 tbsp (45 ml) butter.
2 Add potatoes and cook turning until tender and golden brown.
3 Meanwhile, in a separate pan, melt remaining butter and fry onions until tender.
4 In a serving bowl, combine the potatoes and onions.
5 Serve at once.
