French Onion Soup

Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Onions 4 Medium, thinly sliced
  Garlic 3 Clove (15 gm), minced
  Canned beef broth 21 Ounce (2 Cans, 10 1/2 Ounce Each)
  Dry sherry 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  French bread slice 5
  Swiss cheese 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs), shredded
Directions

In 3-quart casserole, place butter, onions and garlic.
Microwave at high (10) 5 to 8 minutes until onions are tender.
Add beef broth, sherry, salt and pepper; stir to blend.
Microwave at high (10) 10 to 12 minutes.
