  Sliced peeled tart apples 5 Cup (80 tbs) (For Making Filling)
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (For Making Filling)
  Flour 2 Tablespoon (For Making Filling)
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon (For Making Filling)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon (For Making Filling)
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon (For Making Filling)
  Butter 1 Tablespoon (For Making Filling)
  Flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (For Making Batter)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (For Making Batter)
  Baking powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon (For Making Batter)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon (For Making Batter)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon (For Making Batter)
  Egg 1 , slightly beaten (For Making Batter)
Directions

In medium bowl, combine all ingredients for filling except butter, add 1/4 cup water.
Turn into 9x 9 x 2 inch baking pan.
Dot apples with butter.
In medium bowl, combine all batter ingredients, beat with wooden spoon until smooth.
Drop batter in 9 portions on apples, spacing evenly.
Batter will spread during baking.
Bake 35-40 minutes at 375°.
