Microwave 2 Cheese French Onion Soup
|Thinly sliced onions||6 Cup (96 tbs)|
|Condensed beef broth||42 Ounce (Four 10 1/2 -Ounce Cans)|
|Water||10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Soup Can)|
|Worcestershire sauce||2 Teaspoon|
|Hard rolls||2 , sliced and toasted|
|Grated parmesan cheese||2 Tablespoon|
|Sliced mozzarella cheese||4 Tablespoon|
In 3-quart casserole, combine onions and butter.
Cook, covered, at HIGH for 8 to 10 minutes or till onion is tender.
Stir in broth, water, Worcestershire, salt, and pepper.
Cook, covered, at HIGH for 12 to 14 minutes or till boiling.
Reduce setting to MEDIUM (5) and cook, covered, 5 minutes more.
Ladle into heat-proof soup bowls.
Top with toast.
Sprinkle with Parmesan; top with a slice of mozzarella.
Cook, 4 at a time, at HIGH for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 minutes or till cheese melts.
