Baked Chicken With Savory Mushroom Gravy

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Broiler-fryers 2 , cut in serving-size pieces
  Seasoned pepper 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Savory mushroom gravy 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

1. Melt butter or margarine in large shallow baking pan. Roll chicken pieces one at a time in butter to coat well; then arrange, skin side down, in single layer in pan.
2. Combine seasoned pepper and salt in a small cup; sprinkle half evenly over the chicken.
3. Bake in moderate oven (350°) 30 minutes; turn; sprinkle remaining seasoning mixture over. Bake 30 minutes longer, or until chicken is tender and lightly browned.
4. Arrange on heated serving platter; keep warm in a slow oven while making gravy.
