Barbecue Baked Chicken

Ingredients
  Broiler fryers 2 , cut into serving size pieces
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Barbecue sauce 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)
Directions

1. Wash chicken pieces; pat dry; remove skin if you wish.
2. Arrange chicken pieces in a single layer in a well-buttered large shallow baking pan.
3. Spoon Barbecue Sauce over chicken so pieces are well coated. (If you have any leftover sauce, it will keep in a covered jar in the refrigerator.)
4. Bake, uncovered, in hot oven (400°) about 1 hour, or until chicken is tender.
