Bacon, Liver & Mushroom Skewer's picture
  Bacon strips 4 , cut in strips
  Mushroom caps 12 Small
  Chicken livers 12
  Melted butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste

1. On a 7-inch skewer, string a folded-over piece of bacon, a mushroom cap and a chicken liver; repeat 2 more times, ending with bacon; repeat to fill 4 skewers.
2. Place in shallow baking pan; brush with melted butter or margarine.
3. Place in broiler with top of food 4 inches from unit or tip of flame, and broil 10 minutes, or until livers are cooked through and bacon is crisp, turning once and basting once or twice with drippings. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
4. Remove food from each skewer onto a hot plate and serve.
