Bread Sauce with Walnuts
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Chopped dry apricots||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Instant chicken broth/1 chicken bouillon cube||1 Tablespoon (1 Envelope)|
|Water||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|White bread slice||6 , cubed|
|Chopped walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
1. In a large frying pan, saute onion in butter or margarine until soft; stir in apricots, chicken broth or bouillon cube and water. Heat to boiling, crushing bouillon cube if used; remove from heat.
2. Add cubed bread and walnuts; toss until evenly moist.
