Crispy Baked Chicken
|Skinny shake||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Broiler fryers||2 , cut up|
1. Measure out 1/2 cup of "Skinny Shake" mix and put it in a heavy paper bag. Moisten the pieces of chicken with water and shake them up in the bag, a few pieces at a time.
2. Arrange chicken, skin side up, in a single layer on a non-stick baking pan and bake in a moderate oven (375°) about 45 minutes, adding absolutely no other fats or oils. Don't be alarmed if the chicken seems dry for the first 20 minutes; then the "Skinny Shake" starts to work, and at the end of the baking period, it will be crisp and perfect.
