Broiled Chicken Wings's picture
  Chicken wings 3 Pound
  Butter 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sifted flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Toasted almonds 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), finley crushed
  Salt 1 Tablespoon
  Ground ginger 1⁄2 Teaspoon

1. Singe chicken wings, if necessary; cut off tips. (Save for soup kettle.) Divide each wing in half by cutting through joint. Wash and drain on paper toweling.
2. Melt butter or margarine in large shallow baking pan. Mix flour, crushed almonds, salt and ginger in pie plate.
3. Roll chicken pieces, one at a time, in butter or margarine in pan, letting any excess drip back. Roll in flour to coat. Arrange, not touching, in single layer in same pan.
4. Bake in moderate oven (350°) 1 hour, or until tender and richly golden on bottom. Brown in broiler for 3 to 5 minutes.
