Beef Cutlets with Gravy
|Ground chuck||1 1⁄2 Pound|
|Beef seasoning mix||1⁄4 Ounce, ground (1 Envelope)|
|Mushrooms||1⁄4 Pound, quartered|
|Dry red wine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Canned beef gravy||15 Ounce (1 Can)|
1. Combine ground chuck, ground-beef seasoning mix and 1 tablespoon dry red wine. Shape into 4 oval patties.
2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Saute patties 4 minutes on each side; remove from the skillet.
3. Saute quartered mushrooms briefly in the same skillet. Stir in 1/2 cup dry red wine; simmer for about 1 minute.
4. Add canned beef gravy; heat to boiling. Return beef patties to skillet for 1 minute. Garnish with a watercress cluster and a tomato rose, if you wish.
