French Hot Chocolate
|Semi-sweet chocolate square||4|
|Light corn syrup||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Milk||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Cream||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Heavy Or Whipping)|
1. In heavy 1-quart saucepan over low heat, heat chocolate and corn syrup, stirring until mixture is smooth. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes or until cool. Stir in vanilla.
2. In 2-quart saucepan over medium-low heat, heat milk until it is very hot and small bubbles form around edge (do not boil). Meanwhile, in small bowl, with mixer at medium-low speed, beat heavy cream and cooled chocolate mixture until soft peaks form.
