French Style Creamed Spinach
|Fresh spinach||10 Ounce (1 Bag, 284 Gram)|
|Flour||15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)|
|Butter||30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoon)|
|Light cream||30 Milliliter (2 Tablespoon)|
|Nutmeg||1⁄4 Teaspoon (1/4 Teaspoon)|
€¢ Clean and microwave the spinach as for Spinach Nature.
€¢ Do not drain. Chop the spinach with 2 knives and add remaining ingredients, stir well to mix thoroughly. Microwave 4 minutes at HIGH, stirring twice during the cooking period.
€¢ The mixture should be a beautiful deep green and very creamy.
€¢ To taste, just before serving, add 1 teaspoon (5 mL) of grated lemon rind or 1/2 teaspoon (2 mL) fresh lemon juice.
