French Vinaigrette made with shallots, Dijon mustard and red wine vinegar.
1 Tablespoon, minced
Red wine vinegar
2 Pinch (as needed, to taste)
1 Dash, freshly crushed (as needed, to taste)
Extra virgin olive oil
1) In a deep stainless steel bowl, add the minced shallots, Dijon mustard, red wine vinegar, kosher salt and black pepper to taste.
2) Stir the ingredients with a wire whisk until nicely combined.
3) Slowly drizzle and whisk in the extra virgin olive oil until thoroughly mixed and creamy.
4) Use the French Vinaigrette over salad greens, grilled chicken, steamed vegetables, avocados, or as a marinade for grilled foods. Keeps for two weeks in the refrigerator.
