Microwaved Bechamel Sauce

This Bechamel Sauce is so very irresisitble. Use this creamy spiced and herbed sauce as a base for making lasagna, french sauces or a roux. Tell me if you liked this Bechamel Sauce.
Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Grated onion 1 Teaspoon
  All purpose flour 1 Tablespoon
  Chicken broth 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Half and half 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  White pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Ground thyme 1 Dash
Directions

1. Melt butter in a 1-quart glass measuring pitcher in microwave oven (about 30 seconds at High). Add onion and flour; mix well. Add broth and half-and-half gradually, stirring constantly. Cook uncovered
5 minutes at High, or until thickened; stir after 2 minutes, then every 30 seconds.
2. Remove from oven; stir in seasonings.
