Beurre maine is a french beaten dough recipe that is often used in cooking. Made with equal parts of butter and flour, the beurre maine is used for thickening stews or soups and even used in cooking sauces.
Ingredients
  Butter 1 Ounce (25 Grams)
  Flour 1 Ounce (25 Grams)
Directions

Combine the butter and flour together, beating until they are thoroughly blended.
Break off small pieces and roll into individual balls.
The balls should be added, a little at a time, to whatever mixture is being thickened.
