Cheesy French Onion Soup
|Onions||450 Gram, sliced|
|Chicken stock||550 Milliliter|
|French bread slices||4|
|Grated cheese||100 Gram|
Melt the butter/margarine in a large pan and fry onions till golden brown.
Add stock, bay leaf and seasoning to taste.
Bring to the boil and transfer to Slo cooker.
Cook for recommended time.
To serve: sprinkle slices of French bread with grated cheese and float on top of the soup.
Remove the cooking pot and brown under a hot grill until the cheese bubbles.
