Ingredients
  Dried apricots 1 Pound
  Sugar 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Cognac 1 Cup (16 tbs) (To Cover)
Directions

Combine all the ingredients and let stand at least twenty-four hours.
The flavor is improved if the fruit is allowed to steep in cognac for upward of a week
