Sparkling Burgundy Punch

I got to try out this Sparkling Burgundy Punch at my friend's place. My GOD, It was simply mind blowing! Sparkling Burgundy Punch is always prepared with Alcohol as the most essential ingredient. I hope that this Sparkling Burgundy Punch recipe is suited to your tastes and wish you luck in preparing it.
  Freshly brewed tea 1 Quart
  Rum 2 Ounce (1/4 Cup)
  Cognac 2 Ounce (1/4 Cup)
  Lemons juice 2
  Sparkling water 1 Quart, chilled
  Sparkling brandy 750 Milliliter
  Sugar syrup 1 Cup (16 tbs), made by briefly boiling 2 cups sugar with 1 cup water

1. When the tea has cooled to room temperature, add the rum, cognac and lemon juice. Chill.
2. When ready to serve, pour the mixture into a punch bowl. Add sufficient ice to chill and stir in the sparkling water and sparkling Burgundy. Sweeten to taste with sugar syrup
