Gourmet Style French Toast
|Skim milk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Almond extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Brown sugar||3 Tablespoon (Divided)|
|Ground cinnamon||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Vegetable oil||1 Teaspoon|
|Ripe banana||1 , peeled and sliced|
Beat egg and egg whites with whisk in large bowl until frothy.
Whisk in milk, almond extract, 2 tablespoons brown sugar and cinnamon until well blended.
Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
Dip 3 slices bread into egg mixture.
Place bread in skillet; cook 4 to 6 minutes until browned, turning once.
Repeat with remaining 3 slices.
Top slices evenly with banana slices; sprinkle with remaining 1 tablespoon brown sugar.
