Caramel Apple French Toast
|Brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Light corn syrup||2 Tablespoon|
|Peeled tart apples||3|
|Milk||1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)|
|French bread slices||10 (About 1 Inch, A Day Old Ones)|
Combine sugar, butter and syrup and cook 3 to 5 minutes until thick.
Pour in the bottom of a 9 x 12-inch ungreased baking dish.
Arrange apple slices on top.
In a separate bowl, mix eggs, milk and vanilla.
Dip the bread in the egg mixture and arrange on top of the apples.
Pour remaining egg mixture on top.
Bake, uncovered, for 30 to 40 minutes at 350Â°.
