|Finely minced shallots/Scallions||2 Tablespoon|
|Brown sauce/Canned beef gravy||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Madeira wine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1. Melt the butter in a saucepan and saute the shallots for five minutes, taking care that the butter does not brown.
2. Add the brown sauce and lemon juice. When the liquid boils, add the wine and simmer gently five minutes.
