French Fried Shrimp
|Unpeeled shrimp||2 Pound (Medium Size, Fresh)|
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Water||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
|Vegetable oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Cocktail sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Zippy, Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
Peel and devein shrimp.
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl; make a well in center.
Combine water, lemon juice, 1 tablespoon oil, and egg; add to dry ingredients, and stir until batter is smooth.
Dip shrimp in batter, and fry in hot oil (375°) until browned.
