|Milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Gelatin||3 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Packet Or Sheet)|
|Pineapple pieces||4 (Fresh)|
Mix the pineapple with sugar and leave for an hour.
Boil the milk for three or four minutes and remove from the fire.
When cool, add the sugar and the juice which will have oozed from the pineapple.
Place the gelatin and water on a low fire, stirring continuously till the gelatin melts.
Beat the egg white till it is frothy and stiff.
Mix the milk, gelatin, and egg white, and whisk, preferably with an egg beater.
Add pineapple pieces, and chill.
