French Cinnamon Tea Cake
|Caster sugar||2 Ounce|
|Melted butter||1 Tablespoon|
|Vanilla essence||2 Drop (Few Drops Are Required)|
|Melted butter||1 Tablespoon (For Topping)|
|Cinnamon||1 Teaspoon (Leveled) (For Topping)|
Separate egg yolk fro white.
Whisk egg white till stiff and peaky then gradually whisk in sugar, followed by yolk.
Fold in milk and essence and lastly flour and butter.
Turn mixture into well greased 7 inch sandwich tin.
Bake towards top of oven (375°F.€”Gas Mark 4) for 20-25 minutes.
Remove from oven, brush top with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon.
